The reason why is simple, it was already confirmed by developers the game would support the feature.

Last night I fired up the PC version of Borderlands and encountered a game stopping bug. (Though yay, it picks up coughs and sneezes perfectly.) Its constantly cutting out, so I can only hear every other word of people who aren’t hosting. The velocity on the bullets also seems a bit low, which makes sniping a target thats moving in direction other than straight at you pretty tough.Īlso, Voice support in the PC version seems to be really spotty. Yeah, the guns definitely don’t shoot straight, and combined with lag, that can make hitting things kind of a pain. The bullet will often go well of cursor.Īlso, every bullet has a velocity, so I’ve often seen targets move a little while the bullet is in flight. I’m not sure if this drift is directly related to the weapon accuracy, but Mordecai has a skill to actually reduce it.Īccuracy definitely matters, too and is most easily noticed by trying to snipe with a well-scoped SMG. Sniper rifles have a slight “drift” that can cause bullets to go off target (most easily noticed with elemental weapons when you get to see the round hitting the wall slightly off).
